MEET OUR LEADERS

At First Lutheran Church, we believe in the power of both following and leading. Our faith journey is one where everyone is both a disciple of Christ and a leader in their own way. God calls each of us to serve, using our unique gifts to inspire and guide others.

Below are some of the passionate individuals answering this call in our church community.

Rev. Joshua Miller

Pastor

More about Pastor Josh: Pastor Josh was called as pastor of FLC in 2022.  He ensures the church is a safe and welcome place for all.  He is drawn to contemplative spiritual practices.  As a former art student he has an interest in the overlap of faith and the arts.  As a Lutheran he believes God's grace is always bigger and more generous than one can imagine.  He and his wife served as Peace Corps volunteers in Eastern Europe.  They have three children.  In his time off Pastor Josh enjoys bicycling, especially bike-packing.  Prior to coming to First Church Pastor Josh served as pastor of two other congregations in Ohio.  He first felt called into ordained ministry when he was a summer camp counselor and youth director at a church.
